A listing’s state tells you whether it is awaiting review, visible to everyone, unavailable, or open to an ownership claim.
Common states
- Pending: the submission or a recent change is waiting for review.
- Hidden: the listing is not currently shown in normal discovery.
- Rejected: the submitted version did not meet the content or evidence requirements.
- Claimable: the public record has no confirmed manager and can receive an ownership claim.
What to do
- Open the listing from your personal or company workspace.
- Read the visible status and any user-facing guidance.
- Correct incomplete facts, broken official links, unclear ownership, duplicate content, or expired dates.
- Resubmit or use the claim/correction path where offered.
Creating a duplicate rarely solves a status problem. If you cannot access the original listing, send its URL and supporting evidence through feedback.
