Company access and professional experience are separate on dApp.ing. Joining a company workspace does not automatically add or verify a role on your personal profile.
Four different signals
- Company membership: access to or representation on a company hub.
- Company-listed role: a role the company displays for that person.
- Verified experience: a specific role on a personal profile that has been confirmed.
- Company verification: evidence connecting the hub to the organization.
A user may have one signal without the others. For example, an advisor can be a member without claiming employment, and a historical employee can have verified experience without current workspace access.
Requesting role proof
- Add the experience to your personal profile.
- Select the matching company and accurate dates and title.
- Select Request Verification.
- Wait for the company or platform review shown in the interface.
If the title, company, dates, or proof-bearing fields change later, verification can reset and require a new review.
