Company access and professional experience are separate on dApp.ing. Joining a company workspace does not automatically add or verify a role on your personal profile.

Four different signals

  • Company membership: access to or representation on a company hub.
  • Company-listed role: a role the company displays for that person.
  • Verified experience: a specific role on a personal profile that has been confirmed.
  • Company verification: evidence connecting the hub to the organization.

A user may have one signal without the others. For example, an advisor can be a member without claiming employment, and a historical employee can have verified experience without current workspace access.

Requesting role proof

  1. Add the experience to your personal profile.
  2. Select the matching company and accurate dates and title.
  3. Select Request Verification.
  4. Wait for the company or platform review shown in the interface.

If the title, company, dates, or proof-bearing fields change later, verification can reset and require a new review.
